You will be responsible for selling custom designed Fire Alarm, Security Alarm, Access Control, Digital Video Surveillance and GPS Fleet Management systems in the North, Northwest & West suburbs of Chicago.
You will secure and develop long-term relationships with key target strategic partners including commercial & residential real estate developers, construction companies, home automation companies, architectural services, etc.
You will mine a wide scope of prospective commercial and residential building owners & executives, create detailed proposals, give in-person sales presentations and close on contracts.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in B2B contract sales requiring independent self lead generation including cold calling
- Experience in delivering professional & compelling sales presentations
- Outgoing, likable personality with a "can do" attitude
- A general understanding of building construction
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plan drawings
- Must live within a 45 minute drive time of Crystal Lake
- Alarm industry experience preferred
COMPENSATION:
Base salary + commission commensurate with experience.
